Turn off light

I have a plug that is matter enabled and connected to my home app. I plugged a lamp into it.

I can turn it on and off with the home app. I then made a routine with the started to be sunset.

I see I can add an action to turn it off, but how do I set a time for it to turn off? I don’t see any option for when that action happens

Hi @TT-Pow!

Thanks for posting in the community.
I understand that you have already created an automation to turn on the plug. And you want to know how to create an automation to turn off the plug using the time as a starter.

You can follow the next steps to set the routine to turn off the plug:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Automations and then go to Add.
  3. Choose a type of routine and hit on Next.
  4. Under “How to start,” tap Add starter and choose “At a time” and choose the time and day when Routing triggers.
  5. Under “This Routing will,” tap Add action and select the plug to turn off.
  6. At the bottom, tap Save.

You can check the next article for further information: Create and manage routines for Google Home automations

Tell me how it goes.

Regards,

Daniel.
