Tuya Thermostat can not be set and shows no values in home App

Hi

I got myself a couple of tuya Thermostats for my radiators and they are working just fine with the tuya smart App.

I liked my tuya account to Google home to get the thermostats into my home app. This seems to work fine. It shows up but as soon as I pick the device it shows nothing. 

Interestingly I can use voice commands to set temperature and switch between heating programs. Also creating new routines including the thermostat works fine.

Any suggestion how I can get it working in the home app?

Thanks for posting and letting us know about your Google Home app concern. Let me help you. A few questions: are you using Android or iOS? Is the Google Home app updated? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

Try to relink the app and observe if it makes a difference. You can use another phone to isolate this too.

Ths fault in the Google home app has been widely reported for the past 2.5 years.  The Android app can display temperature.  But both the iOS app and Google Nest Hub is unable to display the temperature.  The error is in the Google Home software on both the iOS platform and embarrsingly for Google on their own nest hub platform.

Yes, a 3 year problem.   I wish Google would pay attention to this.   It is probably a simple fix - Google team is simply not paying attention.

Think i will change to Alexa in the next weeks, because there i can control all my devices with their App.

Yes, very sad.   I'm actually considering getting Alexa as well.   Need this stuff to work and it seems Alexa is better supported.

Hello, I just bought thermostat tuya type wkcz but working fine in tuya sofware and supposed to be compatible with google, in google home it is recognize as switxch not as thermostat.
