For YEARS, I have been able to sign into the iOS nest app and view my camera feed. Then one day, when signing in, I got an error message stating that either my email address or password was wrong. However, neither was ever changed. Every attempt I have tried to sign in to the Nest app, the Nest login web page failed. I even tried to migrate the account to Google, but got the exact same error message when entering the Nest login info. Since I no longer have access to the email address used to create the nest account, I cannot reset the password.
I am about to toss these useless bricks into the garbage and buy non Google affiliated cameras. But I thought I'd try to get help. one more time.

I'm just another customer. The contact link IS difficult to use; these instructions work for me:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking any of the listed links will bring up a Help topic page. Depending on your browser settings, they might come up in a different window. Just don't click on any of the suggested links.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Maybe (this is just a guess), if the email address you log into the Google Nest app is no longer an active account, Google Nest regards it as invalid. And it's pretty common (not just with Google) that you can't perform a password reset if you no longer have access to the email account.
You could try the "contact us" option on Google Nest's "Change or reset your Nest Account" Help topic (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/10371718), but I don't know whether Google Nest has any way to verify your identity if you can no longer access the email address you've been using for your account.

Funny you mention the "contact us" option. I've tried to get to this page, but it there seems to be no way to get past the "resources" option. I've tried so many times that I am now convinced that this "support" web site is designed to prevent anyone from reaching the "contact us" page. This is among to most frustrating websites I have ever interacted with. Kindly tell me how I can reach this "contact us" page. Or better yet, please provide the contact information so I can resolve this issue. The alternative, ripping out the cameras and throwing them into the garbage is my next option, albeit an expensive one.

Thanks. I'll give this a try, but I am not confident it will succeed.

So, I was finally able to speak with a support rep in the Philippines. I was told that "Google is updating the Nest app to offer users more features..." I sincerely doubt this reason, or uh excuse, is true. So, the lesson I learned today is to buy a closed circuit camera that is not controlled or manipulated by a third party. Thank you for your help MplsCustomer.

Hi folks,
Thanks for your help @MplsCustomer, I really appreciate your post in the community.
@Bshampsr, thank you for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that your Nest Account/App is not working as expected. But no need to worry, help is here.
I understand that you want to watch your security cameras on the TV however the Nest App is no longer working and the Google Home App is not in your TV. Please keep in mind that the Nest App for Android TV will only work if you have not migrated the Nest Account to a Google Account. Learn about Nest accounts and whether you have a migrated account in our FAQs about accounts for the Nest app.
If the migration was already completed you might need to download and use the Google Home app. You can check the Google Play Store in your Android TV to download the app or you can contact TCL support if needed. They can provide more specific troubleshooting steps based on your TV model and any error codes you might be encountering.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
Mario
