Unlink old router but keep new router linked of the same brand.

Hi, Is there a way to remove (unlink) my old router from the Google Home App but keep the new router linked of the same brand? The only option I can find, only allows me to unlink the whole Brand (TP-Link). I can't find anyway to unlink or delete just the old router, but keep the new router. Just to clarify, my old router and new router are both made by TP-Link.

Hi Joker_1660,

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. How did you initially link this old router in the Google Home app?

Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex, I just used the 'Works with Google' link.

Hi there,

Got it! Have you already removed the old router from the TP-Link app? If so, command Google Assistant to “Sync my devices”. This should remove the old router from the Google Home app. If it’s still there, uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app > Login to your account. You don’t need to relink your smart devices, as they will all sync once you log back into your Google Home account.

Best,
Alex
