Google nest won't show any video on my Samsung TV through SmartThings. I'm not too sure if it's a bug with Samsung or a bug with nest but needless to say it's a problem that a lot of people are having and needs fixed

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Has this been working before? If this is your first time experiencing this, do you know if the cast firmware version of your Samsung TV is updated? You may try restarting your Nest Camera and your Samsung TV and let us know how it goes.

I just got the tv. It's brand new. And the I can check the cast firmware. I reset both already and been tho all troubleshooting. But the nest camera doesn't show up at all on the tv anyway I try. Smartthings it doesn't show u either. How do I find out the cast info?

Thanks for the additional details. It looks like your Nest Camera is working good.
The only thing we need to figure out is to stream it over to your Samsung TV. For you to be able to find the cast firmware version of the TV, it would be best to reach out to your TV manufacturer to better guide you with checking those settings.

That link didn't work really. I don't know what I'm missing the firmware isnt an issue either tried that route too I appreciate all your help. There is something I'm missing I don't know what it could be cuz I've tried everything and contacted support from Google and Samsung. Many people are having the same problem online too.

I appreciate the update. To confirm, what did Samsung support told you about this? Did they mention anything if it's compatible with the Nest Camera? Did they give you any troubleshooting steps that could help you pair them properly?

They just gave a bunch of troubleshooting with the tv. Nothing I haven't done before already. They really haven't helped much with it and it's like a big mystery that nobody can solve there's not even things online really about it either but people have had the same problem I've seen online too they recommended changing the video quality and a couple other little odds and end stuff that you can do but I tried it all.

They should advise you if their product is compatible with your Nest Camera or not. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this.
