What is “I&O&P PRODUCT”?

On the Home page of Google Home IOS app, there is a button at the top that says “Set Up I&O&P PRODUCT”. I Googled I&O&P and found nothing. What is this?

This is a glitch because this looks more like a code than a product name.
So not sure what is happening. 🙄

When I click the button, it searches for devices and finds my Onkyo receiver but nothing else.

Hmm, it looks like the Onkyo receiver indeed causes it.

Found THIS topic which also states it has something to do with an Onkyo device.

Maybe reach out to Onkyo to see if they know this behavior?
Is your Onkyo supported with Google Home or Assistant? 😊

I saw that too. Seems odd no one from the Google side knows what this. I'll reach out to Onkyo.

@Kentmcp, thanks for posting. There is a possibility that it is your Onkyo device as you can link this to your Google Home app. Let us know Onkyoś feedback about it by updating this thread, as we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
