Will Google Home Mini Support Gemini AI via Software Update?

I’ve been using my Google Home Mini for a while now, and I noticed it's still running the classic Google Assistant. With the recent buzz around Gemini AI, I wanted to ask:

🟡 Is there any official update or plan to roll out Gemini AI on existing Nest devices like the Home Mini?
🟡 Will this be possible via a firmware/software update, or would users need to buy a newer device to access Gemini?

I use Android as my main platform, and it would be great to see more intelligent responses and advanced capabilities on my current devices without upgrading hardware just yet.
