Xiaomi mi bedside lamps 2 are not appearing on the app

I have been using 4 x Xiaomi mi bedside lamps 2 since more than a year ago, but after the last google home update they are not appearing on the app anymore. On the mi home account I see only 1 device now (mi fan 2 pro) I lost 4 devices. Tried to log out from the mi.com account, reinstall mi home and google home, tried to reconfigure the mi lamps... Even tried to install yeelight app, there I can see the 4 lamps as well but when I try to add the yeelight account to google home it says that no compatible devices were found.

I also adressed this via feedback in the Mi Home app. You can select the lamp directly there an send some screenshots and videos and write a message. I'd advice you guys to do same, the more complain, the faster they fix it.

Just click on "help and feedback" in the App, select the product and add a description and a Screenshot or Video.

Same with me here in India. The lamp is intact in my Mi Home app, shows up in Yeelight too. But just disappeared from Google Home. Google chat support said "it's out of my abilities to provide a solution" when I spoke to them on chat

Edit: the problem has gotten fixed without either Google Home or Mi Home in my recently updated apps. The Bedside Lamp 2is back in Home

Same problem. Just disapeared from Google home, but works fine from Mi Home. When I try to connect Mi Home in Google home. It says there are no complatable devices and drops me out. This only happened yesterday. Seems a major problem around the world.  I am in Australia.

Me too. My two Mi Bedside Lamp 2's along with 4 other devices are in the Mi Home app - so 6 devices in total. The Mi Home app is linked to Google Home (as it was previously) but only 4 of the 6 devices show up in Google Home - the two Bedside Lamps are missing. The other 4 devices are smart bulbs, a lightstrip and a Yeelight computer monitor lamp.

Tried connecting the bedside lamp to Smartthings as well as Google Home. Both through Yeelight as well as Mi Home. No luck. Will submit feedback on both platforms (Yeelight & Mi Home).

When trying to reconnect the Mi account in Google Home the right number of devices was shown. After reconnecting also my two Bedside 2s returned. I only had to associate them to my home and the rooms in Google Home app again.

YES! They are back!

I didn't even have to reconnect the bedside lamps appeared again in my Google Home, just had to add them to the right room.

I confirm, the lamp returned. Just reconnect and it will appear available to add to a house and room. Voice ignition works!!!!

Unity is strength, we did it!

I too can confirm this, they reappeared. I also just had to relink my Mi Home account, also had to add them to the right room again. Voice command is working fine too again.

Awesome! We did it! Together we are strong 😼🤜

Here in Germany, the problem exists since 2 days. I can not relink Mi Home to Google. ;-(

It looks like a google problem not you. So hassle google the more the merrier and remember the squeaky cog gets the most oil. They have to fix it for your soon. Seems fixed here in Qld Australia. Hope they fix it soon for you.

I figured out now the reason. I use another Phone with Android 13 and and older Version of the Mi Home App. With this config I can connect google Home and Mi Home. After that I put an Update to android 14 and an Update to Mi Home. Then the connection is broken, and no Xiami Device is connected to Google. Change Server location and so on. But nothing works. Live in Germany. Any Ideas?

Try relinking your Xiaomi account, it should fix it. Beside my first post here, it happened again last week. I relinked MiHome and the lamps appeared again.

There seems to be a problem with MiHome and Android 14, you can read it in the Playstore ratings for the app, there are loads of people having problems with MiHome app in combination with Android 14.
I'm also running Android 14 on Samsung S23+, also hailing from Germany. But relinking always fixes issues for me. It happens regularly, like once in a week. Xiaomi really needs to get their sh|t together and update their app. The problem is most likely on their side. I got loads of other smart home IOT stuff running, like Shelly, Tuya etc. and everything is working completely fine, no matter what Android version or update, no issues, never at all.

No compatible devices found, when I try to link 😞

Also Android 14, Samsung s23 ultra and germany 😞

You could try this: Unlink MiHome from google devices, delete all your devices from your MiHome app, after that, kill all running apps in the app drawer. Start MiHome app again, reset and add your devices again, rename them to sth. different than before. Make sure they're working fine in MiHome. After that, link your MiHome account again in your google home.

If all of that doesn't help, file a report in the MiHome app (->Profile -> Hilfe und Feedback -> select your device -> tell them whats the problem -> send your report), that's what many of us did when it happened the first time. After a day or so, things got working again. But I'm not sure if they listened to us or fixed it anyway.

I do everything as you describe. Same error. No connection. Send now an error report to Xiamo. Wait and see.

There's only one thing left to try, check if Google Home and MiHome are both up to date. Maybe there are Updates pending and you haven't installed them yet.

If not, you'll unforunately have to wait for them to fix it. I know its annoying, I'm feeling with you brother...

nothing help. I will wait.
