in the Home app (Android), I had four locations listed, but one disappeared

Whoever is the owner of the fourth location might have taken you out of their shared settings.

Did you happen to share that home with anyone else?  Do you still see the devices that were attached to that home?

Tried to, wife hasn't accepted.

The devices are still listed.

Sorry, I’m not sure why that bug happened. Maybe if you try to recreate it, it will hopefully stick.

No resolution at this point, looks like a possible major bug, can't get help. 

I should probably give up and rebuild.

I'll do that, was trying to help Google Nest fix a bug, but, giving up.
