I have had a Nest thermostat installed for 2 years. For the past 3 weeks, my Nest thermostat app on my Samsung phone keeps going offline. It is connected to the WiFi and the battery isn't low and I have the current version (I removed it and reinstalled it). I can restart the Nest on the thermostat and it comes back online in the app. The purpose of having the app is so I don't have to get to the thermostat to make changes. Why is this happening now when I haven't had a problem for the past 2 years? And how to I fix it without restarting my thermostat?
