Hi everyone,

@Treve, I'm glad your concern is resolved.

@Allesio, thanks for sharing that. For the Xiaomi IR issue, since you already deleted it from your Google account yet the issue is still happening, we would suggest for you to contact Mi Home support and see if they can help us with your concern since this is isolated to their app.

Keep me in the loop.

Thanks,

Juni

Honestly you are probably best to contact Xiaomi for this, as it is a third party issue.  Saying that you can try " Hey Google, Sync My devices" to see if that works.

Thanks for the response, I still think its about the google connection with mi home app because in both of the apps I can find the devices but I only can't link the Mi home app with the Google home.. and for other people it is working with my specific speaker as well..

Did you try change region/location in Mi Home app?

Yes, to 3 different countries and every time I do I need to add all the devices again in the mi home app, and still not working..

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. A few things: what is the make and model of the phone that you are using for your Google Home app? What is the Home app version installed to it? Do you have other third party devices linked? If so, are they working fine?

Everyone can try to unlink and relink the Google Home app and see if it will fix it. If that did not work, since an attempt to link Mi Home happened try to unlink it directly from your Google account then relink it again.

Check these links.

Hi Juni,

Phone: Xiaomi Redmi Note 7

Xiaomi Home version: 7.12.700
Google Home version: 2.60.1.19

I tried to unlink and link again everything but it still doesn't work. It shows me that there is no device found. I also tried "SmartTings" workaround from other article but still no effect. Please help.
