Ok google STILL does not work right

Not sure where to post this but I'm posting it here anyways! Can't get any help from Google!

I have 3 different phones with 3 different providers PLUS a Wi-Fi only tablet! Ok Google used to trigger 9 out of 10 times when I would say "Ok google" or "Hey Google". Then along came a major update a couple years ago, and now it's a crap shoot if it will trigger Google at all. Obviously all my devices are up to date, and I ALSO experience the same problem when using mobile data. Just NEVER know if/when it will trigger! I have brought this up to Google "experts" so many times but never had a fix for it! Supposedly this was supposed to have been escalated to the engineers - that was a year ago! I have seen this same problem happen with other people so it's not just my devices or my account. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, re set up, re trained my voice, all my settings are set properly - but Ok Google only triggers about 6 out of 10 attempts now. This is a major headache when trying to work hands free and using Google for the simplest of tasks.

PLEASE do something about this!

Um, there have been NUMEROUS replies via email and also other apps and Google play as well - I'm not going to go through them all and look for a case number - fix the problem you created, it's as simple as that!

Thanks for the response. Seems like you have an ongoing case now with regards to your Chromecast. As for the Nest speaker we would like to dig deeper. Could you provide the firmware version and the software version installed on your Google Nest speaker
