verbally accessing google podcasts i've subscribed to

My mother is blind.  I have installed google home, google assistant, google podcasts for her to access with a google nest speaker.  We are having difficulty accessing the podcasts she is subscribed to in most recent date order, keeping most recent 2(deleting older ones if not listened to).  When asked to "play MY podcasts", the response is "you can ask for podcasts by name"; when asked to "play podcasts" the response is "there are 10 podcasts ready to go"; these are often old episodes.  I have tried settings on google podcasts for auto download, remove unfinished after 30 days, auto playback from queue is enabled.  my queue still has podcasts from august , 2022.  I have downloads, not sure how or why.  maybe i need to change some of these settings?

How can she access her subscribed podcasts on google podcasts?  verbal prompts to use?

Hi RuthLevin,

Thanks for reaching out. I bet your mother really likes to listen to podcasts. Let’s see what's going on. A few questions: is your mother added as a home member? Did she set her voice match? Also, which Nest speakers do you own?

Check out this article for more information about playing podcasts.
