1st Generation Camera, video recording don't want Nest Aware

I have 3 Nest 1st generation cameras. Just added the 3rd. The 1st two have accounts that record, the 3rd is not recording. I don't want the Nest Aware, I just want to have it record by subscription like the other 2. How do I do this, without getting the "new" Nest aware. I want to access through Nest app, not Google. Can you advise how I do this? Thanks

@letsdothis

It sounds like you may have a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription on each of your two older cameras and need to purchase a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription for your third.

This page lists what you get for each subscription on each device:

I don't know how you purchase a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription.

You could try the "Contact us" link under "Nest Aware Premier Care" on the page below. They say you "Get 24/7 access to Nest Aware Experts on the Nest Customer Care team. They’re available to answer questions, help you access features, and manage your subscription."

Hey everyone,

@letsdothis, thanks for posting here in the Community. How's it going? Were you able to reach our Nest Aware Premium Care team? Have you tried checking your options to subscribe to your Nest Camera from your Nest app? When you're on the homepage of your Nest app, go to settings> Nest Aware and check your option to subscribe to the 1st gen Nest Aware. Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Best,

Emerson

Hi letsdothis,

I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Camera? We would appreciate it if you could share the information I’m asking above. Also, were you able to perform the steps I’m suggesting? We'd be glad to hear from you.

Emerson
