"Our long term plan is to use the Home app as the one place to control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices. We appreciate your feedback as we're looking for ways to improve our products and services. Stay tuned on our social media channels for more news."
July 2023, still crickets. Seriously, what the hell are you doing?

Google is too rich from ad revenue and does not maintain or care about their lower revenue products. Almost everything they touch in the application space start as or turns to %^%^. The most dreaded thing to happen, as a consumer, of any given product is for google to acquire the company.
I bought 6 nest devices, worked great. Bought some more after google acquired, incompatible / doesn't work well. Google recently acquired fitbit - dreading what this will mean for my fitbit.

Despite my sarcasm, it was actually a serious question. What exactly IS Google doing about migrating full functionality to legacy products to the new app? I'm sure the many thousands of customers would like an honest reply. If Google has no intention of ever doing what they have said, just say so.

Hey folks,
Just one final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, we would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let us know.
Thanks,
Emerson

Why do you always lock threads? Why not keep it open so that in 6 months time we can check in, see that nothing whatsoever has happened and ask again? Or do we keep opening new threads?
I asked a question that still hasn't been answered. Why is that? Is it because no-one at Google wants to respond and tell us the truth? Or that you don't know, or don't particularly care?
Coming up with the same old platitudes like "we'll ensure that we'll learn from your experience" is just, to be frank, useless.
