2nd Gen Nest Doorbell Cam (wired) using USB power now not powering up (dead)

I was using the wired doorbell cam for a number of years but had an electrical issue. To solve, I started using the USB port for power which worked great for a year or so. Now, it has completely died. I've swapped out different cables, charging blocks, etc. with no luck. Do these ports burn out? It simply does not power up at all.

One of our Nest Hello Doorbells is powered with an OhmKat Power Adapter, since there was no existing doorbell at that door:

What doorbell do you actually have? You say you've had it for a number of years, and have been powering it through the USB port for a year or so, but the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell indicated in your post has only been available since October 2022.

If you have the (1st gen) Google Nest Hello Doorbell, the USB port is designed to charge the Nest Hello's internal battery (yes it has one), but is not designed for powering the doorbell long term; see this comments on this post:

I'm not sure what you mean by "had an electrical issue".  If you can't get it to work by wiring it to your doorbell transformer, you could try contacting Support, using the link and instructions in this post:

Thanks. It must be a 1st gen. I was powering it over the charging port which I now understand was not the correct method. The electrical issue is that there is no longer power supplying the transformer and I can't find the power source anywhere - hence starting to power the doorbell through the charging port.
