3 Years Living With Nest Doorbell Camera

Mainly leaving a review of this product after owning it 3 years. Out of the box new they work awesome, though it mentions nowhere on the box that most of the features require a subscription. And it is truly a piece of crap without the subscription features. After 3 years the battery starts dying quickly, although when brand new it lasts a good bit. At $119 it is quite a bit overpriced when Google conveniently doesn't advertise on the box that an $80 a year subscription is required. I guess I overall I would consider this to be just another en**bleep**tified internet tech product to squeeze money out of consumers. I guess if you don't need to budget your money, it's probably top notch(if you don't mind buying a new one in 3 years when battery starts dying).
