4 day doorbell recharge achieved 42% charge?

My Battery powered google nest door bell ran down to ‘empty’ and when put on charge said would take 127 hours so 4 day later it said it was ‘fully charged’ however when put back on wall it says 42% full battery.

it is a cold area but under cover and is about 2.5-3 years old ?

Is this getting to end of life if so very dissatisfied as payoff nearly $200.00 and cannot afford no door bell for 4 days to get 42% or am I missing something

To find the best solution, I'd like to ask the following:

• Are you using the provided cable and adapter?
• What's the current temperature where you live?
• What's the status light on your Nest Doorbell (battery)?
