Adding Nest Camera but unable to use it on Nest Aware

DyingGasp

I have a Nest Doorbell, two outdoor, and one indoor camera. I have Nest Aware for the 24/7 recording and video saves. I just added a Google Nest Cam (gen 2 wired). I know this is not integrated with Nest. I have added all my cameras to Google Home.

What do I need to do to ensure I have backups for all my cameras, like Nest Aware? I don't want to pay for Nest Aware and not have access to my latest addition. I am okay with a different subscription service if that is required.

Your Nest Aware subscription should apply to all cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure" accessed by the same Google Account. However, you'll have to access history for the newer camera(s) in the Google Home app.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you. As long as your cameras and doorbells are all connected to the same account or home/structure, they should all be monitored the same. User MplsCustomer is correct. Thank you for your help again.

Best regards,
Brad
