Adding wife to be able to access door bell

How do I add the ability for my wife to access the door bell & camera. I sent her the invite, but when the link is clicked, it acts like it’s doing an initial setup & subsequently prompts that my access will be disabled. Seems like it should be fairly straightforward , unless I’m doing something wrong. Thanks, in advance, for the input & suggestions.

When your wife clicks on the invite link, she gets a message saying that YOUR access will be disabled? That seems bizarre. Does the message name you or your email? Do you or your wife have multiple Google Nest "homes" that might be causing confusion for Google Nest?

Thanks for the reply. When I click the invite link on her phone, it takes me to the page that looks & acts like the same one I used when I set my phone up. It's there that I get the message that my setup will be disabled.

Here is a great article that I would suggest looking over when sharing access with a family member. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks Abgail. I believe that I got it figured out last night. Had her install the Nest app & added the doorbell there. Just deleted the Google Home app.

I am relieved to hear that you were able to get her access, and get it all working. As this looks to be resolved, we'll go ahead and leave this thread open for another 24 hours, after which this thread will be locked. Please let us know if you need further assistance in the meantime.

Best regards,

Brad

Are you or your wife's Google accounts workspace accounts?  If so workspace accounts have to be the sole account.
