Bands in Neat cam video

After installing the cam last night with no issues, today there are bands running through the video.

Thanks for contacting this community! I see that you recently installed a Nest Camera, which is great and had no issues. But recently, you can see that there are bands running through the video. I'm happy to help you with this!

I would like to ask you a few questions so I can provide you with troubleshooting steps.

  • What kind of Nest Camera do you have? If possible, please send me a photo.
  • Could you help me with a screenshot that shows the issue with their video feed?
  • We have two types of subscriptions with Google Home; do you currently have the Home Premium Advanced or the Home Premium Standard subscription?

In the meantime, I recommend you try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Regarding the Nest Cam IQ Indoor or Outdoor:
    • Unplug the camera from its power source, wait 30 seconds, and plug the camera back in.
  • Regarding the Nest Cam (battery) or the Nest Cam (wired):
    • If the light can be dimmed, set the brightness to a different level.
    • If possible, test a different brand and power level of light.
    • Adjust the camera field of view away from the light source.
