I am not able to have the nest doorbell connect to the nest hub. It sends notification to my phone but not the hub. Tried resetting...and no help...

@Jimbo716

Are your Nest Hub and battery doorbell in the same Google Nest "home/structure"?

Do you have "Visitor announcements" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) enabled in the Google Home app for your battery doorbell?  ("Visitor announcement" for when the doorbell button is pressed are the only notifications that Google Nest doorbells can send to Nest Hubs.)

Visitor announcements are enabled. When the doorbell is pressed it rings my Google speaker in the garage but nothing shows up on the nest hub

I was thinking about doing a complete factory reset on all apps and the hub see if that will help

@Jimbo716

On your Nest Hub, is "Do not disturb" turned on?  If so, that blocks "Visitor announcements".

It is not turned on

@Jimbo716

I can't think of any other likely causes.

Are you also unable to view your doorbell's camera on the Nest Hub?

I think I've seen a few other similar posts regarding "Visitor announcements" with the battery doorbell.

Maybe Support would have some insights:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

I appreciate it. I might just factory reset all devices. Including the hub
