Cameras either run on wifi or Bluetooth. Use your phone to scan the area . You should see available devices sbf go from there if that doesn't work look on eBay for devices that sniff out cameras .
Since you wrote this on the google nest forum can we safely assume your question is relative to him using nest cameras? If so just open the nest or google home app. You’ll see all the cameras and the history. Or just look around the home you can’t miss them they are not small
