Best camera won’t stream on Google TV - Sony

Hey. My nest (gen 2) indoor camera will not stream on my new Sony TV with Google TV. It will stream on my other TVs which use Google TV dongles. 

when I try on the Sony I just get a small broken camera icon.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble streaming your Nest cameras to your Sony TV with Google TV (built-in Chromecast). Here are some steps we can try that might solve this:

• Restart your WiFi router.
• Make sure the Google TV and the camera are in the same home in the Google Home app.
• Restart your camera.

Currently, live camera viewing through Nest Cameras is only supported on TVs with Chromecast with Google TV dongle, or Chromecast Built-in.

Just confirming, does your TV use Google TV or Chromecast Built-in? If your TV uses only Google TV (without Chromecast Built-in), unfortunately, live streaming of the camera feed isn't currently available.

I have the same issue. It looks like the same issue over a year ago on other chains and all we get is a template ‘restart’ answer (which doesn’t work btw). Give up on Google. They clearly don’t care.
