Both my nest cameras went offline ariund the same time

Both my nest doorbell and garden camera started to show as offline in the home app at around the same time as each other.

 

It's nothing to do with the temperature or the WiFi signal, and I did get them both working again bg removing then from the home app, factory resetting them and reinstalling them.

 

But after just one day they both went offline again.

 

Had them for around 2 years.

 

No flashing led warnings, both batteries fully charged and WiFi as strong as ever and they worked fine for two years u til now.

 

Any ideas?

Mine have done this constantly since purchase.... Google cameras and the home app aren't fit for purpose never have been never will be. Mine have been faulty for over a year. If you're a prospective buyer take heed of the plethora of ongoing complaints and buy another brand. Google sell garbage then abandon the consumer.

Have just reinstalled one of the cams and ita back online.k

Will see how it goes.

It's approx 20ft away from router and has been ok for nearly two yrs.

So far so good

Stopped working within a day of first reinstall...but been OK since 2nd reinstall and been online and OK since

No change in WiFi set up or position    strange but OK
