Is your USB plug seated firmly in the bottom of the camera and is the cable feeding towards the FRONT of the camera as it should? Other customers have had issues with both, and a few discovered their camera wouldn't charge unless they jiggled a bit with the USB plug. The plug seems a bit flimsy; a few customers have reported their USB plug broke apart.
We've had ours plugged in for almost 17 months and are going through our second Minnesota winter with no issues.
