Camera I mounted issue

SBandick
Community Member

Hi all

we have had our camera for 12 months now. Just did a charge but we are getting told the camera is unmounted.   I’ve wiped down the contact acts and made sure it is properly mounted. Per Google I changed the mount and changed it back to Google Cam this didn’t work. I’ve also removed the camera from the network and readded also didn’t work. Any ideas??

Ive also got an issue with our doorbell but will post seperately.

Hello SBandick,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. I understand you're having issues about the mount of your Nest Camera. We would recommend you to restart your Nest Camera and reinstall your app. Also, may I know what the issue is with your Nest Doorbell? Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Emerson

Hi Emerson

The nest doorbell issue has been resolved in another thread.
I have already done all that you have suggested with no luck. I’ve also removed and reinstalled the camera.
Any other ideas?  I think potentially I need to report directly to Google but not sure how.
edit add:  I have swapped the mounts over and camera is working fine now BUT other camera is now not working so appears to be a problem with the mount.
