We have a Google Nest Camera (Battery), introduced in 2021. The battery cannot be changed. That's one of the reasons we have ours plugged in all the time with the optional power cable.
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. You will need to access the camera in order to charge it. No way around that. If you do not want to worry about charging it, then I would suggest that you install it as a wired device.
