Camera connection using an ethernet cable instead of wifi

My driveway gate is too far for a stable WiFi connection. Is there anyway to connect to a camera using an ethernet cable? I have a conduit out to the gate and also power.

For the new (battery) cams this 3rd party company makes a cable that will save the problem but it isn't out yet.  Keep in mind the NEW nest cams are a mess when it comes to features since you can't  use the older NEST app with you.  You are stuck with the GOOGLE HOME app and there is also no way to view these new cams on your computer.   I ended up returning the new cams because of the limitations compared to the older cams.
