Camera not connecting on another home members device

Hello. I've recently set up a nest doorbell battery. It works fine on my phone but it will not connect to my wife's phone via the app. I've added her as a member but whenever we try to access the camera from her phone it just says connect to wifi. It tries to connect to the camera but still does not work. Any suggestions would help please. I've tried rebooting the nest camera and reinstalled it all together with the same issue.

@bjabero15

In the Google Home app, is your wife accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure" where your Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) is installed (or does she have more than one "home/structure" and is accessing another one)?

If she is accessing the same "home" and cannot access the doorbell, you could try deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app on her phone.

I tried that as well with no luck.

I'm just another Google Nest customer looking for clues.

Is your wife's phone connected to the same Wi-Fi network?

On her iPhone under Settings | Cellular, is "Google Home" turned on?

Where exactly do you get this "connect to Wi-Fi" message? How is it worded? Is it when she selects the doorbell in the Google Home app or someplace else?

Yes it is in the google home app when she selects the doorbell. Google home is turned on in cellular settings.

when she clicks on the camera from the app it says "camera offline. make sure that it is on and connected to wifi

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how upsetting this may be, and I'm happy to assist you with this. I appreciate all of your help, MplsCustomer. @bjabero15, have you made sure that when you or your wife tries to access the app on her phone, is her phone connected to the same Wi-Fi as your phone, and your cameras? Has your wife accepted your invite to your home?

Best regards,
Brad
