Camera not recording video even with nest aware

You might want to contact Support and go through some troubleshooting (see below).

But here are a few things to check:

1) In the Google Nest app, under Settings for your camera, is "Video recording" turned on?

2) Are you using these instructions for accessing video history in the Google Nest app? https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9208447

3) Is your camera in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your subscription?

4) Does your subscription show as active here? (https://store.google.com/subscriptions)


To contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
