Camera security outside

I am starting to get this color change on my 1st Gen external wired security camera. Is there a setting? What’s wrong?

Hey RLewkowicz,

 

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. If the camera doesn’t automatically switch to or from Night Vision when the light conditions change, you might experience this when you watch your camera’s video stream. Try doing the steps below:

 

Make sure Night Vision is set to Auto. 

  • In the Google Home app
    1. On the home screen, select the camera they want to change settings for.
    2. Tap Video.
    3. Under Night Vision, select from Always on, Auto, or Off.
  • In the Nest app
    1. On the home screen, select the camera they want to change settings for.
    2. Tap Settings > Night Vision.
    3. Toggle the Auto.
