2 cameras and 1 door bell camera all went off line. My bill is paid. How do I fix?

Did your wifi go offline ?  Would suggest you try rebooting your router first to see if that fixes issues.

My Nest IQ outdoor cam went offline multiple times, then stayed off. Support couldn’t help. I’ve “fixed” this issue twice now by removing the device and adding it back in. This could get old.

You fixed it by reconnecting the camera then they went offline again, question is can you test to see if the signal is just too low where the cameras are located? Maybe set one up near the router for a day to see if it stays online..if it doesn't then at least you can knock signal issues off the list right?

The camera and the router are exactly where they’ve been for 5 years, and my phone shows the wifi signal is strong there. The last time I “fixed” it by removing/adding the camera it worked fine for a full week. I’ll have to see how long it works this time.  (But Ashepherdson, thinking about your suggestion… I might try this if it fails again. I wonder if the power adapter and usb cable are the same as most usb-c devices. Pulling out the camera’s cable for such a test would be a BIG hassle.)

For the cable it should be the same,  the tech specs are below.  Fingers crossed it stays active but you never know.  As for the wifi signal, it's a long shot I know, but things do happen sometimes so it's not a bad test to run if you can.

Power input

100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, 0.65 A

Power output

15 V DC, 1.8 7A

Cable

Length: 7.5 m

I’ll try it if the problem recurs. Thanks!

I haven’t learned anything new, but I’ve gotten much faster at removing, then adding, my camera. It continues to work flawlessly for 7-8 days, then fails hard. I still suspect it’s an account problem. Btw, my current account gives me 24/7 recording for $50/year, whereas the new Google version they constantly ask me to upgrade to is $120/year. Maybe this 8-day failure problem is Google trying to nudge me to upgrade. 😉

Sorry just to be clear, you rebooted your modem ...or your router?
