Cameras won’t connect to app

I can’t add my cameras to google home. The 1st one works but the other 2 won’t add to the home. Every time it says it is trying to link to a device and says something went wrong. It’s beyond frustrating please help

Customers have been getting "assisting device" errors for many months now, and Google Nest has no official resolution. This recent thread has one customer's solution:
