Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you. Which Nest doorbell are you using? The Nest Doorbell (battery) or the Nest Doorbell 2nd Gen (wired)?
The Nest Doorbell (battery) does not use a chime, so if you are trying to connect one, it definitely is not recommended. If you are using the Chime Puck that came with the Nest Doorbell 2nd Gen (wired), are you setting it up correctly according to the guide? Please let me know, as we will need clarification in order to assist you further.
