I have a later model Nest cam which uses Google Home. I have an Event (a tail-less raccoon on my kitchen deck, not that it matters) that I want to download and post to a social media group. I know how to create the snapshot from my Event history. I just don't know where that snapshot is landing or how to get to it.
On my iPhone in Google Home and from the hamburger menu, I click "Save clip". I get a message "Downloading...", then "Download complete." Then the message disapears. But where did it put the downloaded snapshot?? I can't find the option to view that downloaded snapshot or, better, all of my saved snapshots.
I've spent an hour scanning Google Help posts about this. They say to click "Event Details". But I don't have an "Event Details" menu option. Under the ",,,"menu all I have are Settings, Event feedback, Help, Feedback and Cancel. Under the video I just have history collapse controls and the standard video controls.

The Google Home app saves downloaded clips in your Photo app on the iPhone. We usually get a message asking us to verify our settings for the Google Home app with regard to downloads when we download a clip. Once in awhile the download just doesn't happen and we have to do it again.
But there is no capacity to save "snapshots". It only downloads video clips. You'll have to create your own snapshot using your phone's capabilities.
