Can’t add or remove device.

Have three (3) existing camera accessed thru Nest app and old username and password.  Bought new Nest Doorbell / Camera requiring Google Home app for setup.  Doorbell / Camera is installed and working.  Can’t “add device”, the three old existing cameras.  Error message is the cameras belong to another user, but I am the original user.  Since “migrating” to Google, I NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO NEST VIA THE OLD LOGIN, to remove the cameras from that app.  Is there a work around or do I trash all the Nest products, apps, logins, etc. and go out to buy “Simply Safe” products and bad mouth Nest and Google to all that will listen?  Thank you, and about to give up.  Reply at:  #

@Frustrated75

Did you actually "migrate" your Nest Account to your Google Account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676) BEFORE using that account to install the new doorbell and camera in the Google Home app?  If you did, you should see your 3 older cameras in the Google Home app, but will still need to administer them in the Google Nest app (logging in with your Google Account).

If you did NOT, then you cannot migrate your old Nest Account to the Google Account you are using for your new doorbell and camera because the Google Account is already in use for Google Nest devices (Google Nest's undocumented rule). So you will have to do a factory reset on your three older cameras (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162), and then reinstall then in the Google Nest app, logging on with your Google Account.

Or you can call Support for assistance:
