There doesn't seem to be a category for the wired doorbell, so I've chosen battery, but it's the wired version I'm having trouble with.
I have a Nest doorbell all wired up and working on the front door. I've bought exactly the same kit (24v transformer and Nest wired doorbell) for the door of my office, which is on a separate wifi network. (Neither of these doorbells is wired to a chime.)
I've gone through the setup process on doorbell 2. I can set it up in the house, on wifi network 1, but obviously that won't work for the office - however if I do the "change wifi network" routine, I get error NC024, "can't connect to another Nest product". (Not sure why it needs to.)
I can't seem to set it up in the office, on wifi network 2. It gets to the last stage of finishing up, and then gives me NC018, which also seems to relate to not being able to connect to another product. I've tried setting it up on wifi 2 both after setting it up on wifi 1, and also after doing a factory reset of the doorbell, removing it from the app, and starting again.
I've tried this on Android (Galaxy s8, v9) and iOS (iPad, 14.8.1). Weirdly, on Android during the setup the graphic implies it's the phone/iPad connecting to the new doorbell, while on iOS it's got the two doorbells side by side. Setting up in iOS gives me a different error: NC017, "this location may be too far from the Nest Cam". Well, tough, unless Google imagines I can move the two doors closer to each other.
I've restarted everything several times, and been through the largely useless troubleshooter without any revelations. What else could I try?

I've now tried setting up doorbell 2 on wifi network 2, with doorbell 1 turned off. I get NC030, "Your camera couldn't connect to another Nest product in your home to finish the setup process". Why does it need to connect to any other Nest products, given that it has wifi, a Bluetooth connection to my phone, and authentication is presumably coming from the Nest account I'm signed in with?
The problem here seems to be that the second wifi network is throwing it, but there's nothing I can do about that without changing the network setup here.

Hi. I have a similar problem. After trying everything else, I created another home in the Google Home app. I added the second device (a camera in my case) as the only device in that home. Set up allowed me to select the network SSID. Warning- if you have an Aware Plus subscription and want all your devices on that one subscription, you will have a new problem. I have a support case open to try to fix my subscription. My new camera is currently running on a trial subscription.

FYI. In the end, I gave up. My second home in the same house now has a second Aware subscription. You may not wish to use the approach of creating a new home to allow you to use your second wifi connection. I think Google has failed us with the set up routine.
