Can’t factory reset nest cam battery

My camera was working for a couple weeks and stopped.  Started trouble shooting by reset, didn’t work.  Removed from app and tried to reinstall and didn’t work.  Now I’m trying to factory reset by holding reset button and it doesn’t matter, if I hold it for 10, 12 or 1,000,000 seconds, the light always stays green. Is it possible I have a dud?

That doesn't sound right. We've had a battery camera since Sept. 2021--plugged in with the optional power cable--since Sept. 2021, and it's been "Live" and online ever since.
