Blurred background image

Hi, recently my blurred background image changed and is annoying because it took it while my Christmas lights around the door were red. It's just an annoyance. It's not like this on my iPhone. Only my S23 Ultra. I tried clearing the cache and data. Even uninstalling the Home app but it's still there. Is there a way to update, refresh this blurred background image to a recent video snapshot? The file must be saved locally somewhere on the phone.

Hi xNils

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Please take a screenshot of the said photo from your iPhone and from your S23 Ultra and post it here so that we could take a closer look at what happened.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Emerson

I ended up completely removing the doorbell camera then adding it back in.  It worked but it's so not ideal. It would be nice if we had an option of not having it or control over what's shown. How do I upload an image in this topic so you and others understand what I was talking about?

I deleted the other screen shot a few days ago after fixing it by removing the camera which also deleted all video history but, this current one shows what I mean. The blurred background to the left and right. It would be nice to have control over that image. Refresh it when we want or not have it displayed. It will probably change on me again at some point. I think I don't need to go through too much explaining of various reasons for an option. One being if you move a camera to another spot, it'll stll show an old background. I really wouldn't want a constant changing background either.

Hello xNils,

I appreciate your update.  To further isolate this issue, try viewing your live feed while your phone is in horizontal mode. Sign in your same account to https://goo.gle/2UZL8VI and view the same live feed and check if the issue is still the same. You may also try reinstalling your Nest app or Google Home app.

Thanks,

Emerson
