Hello.
So today my doorbell said it was offline in the app and it would not turn back online. I reset the router however no dice, so I factory reset the doorbell. However, I can't connect the doorbell now to the app, whenever I go through the setup procedure the google.home app when connecting to wifi says "something went wrong, there is no internet connectivity on this network" which isn't true as I am using the internet as normal including using Chromecast and the home minispeaker which work fine in the home app.
Also, after going through the failed procedure the doorbell now flashes yellow and makes a chime
Thank you in advance

I'm having exactly the same problem except that it started because I removed the doorbell by accident from the Google Nest app. I have only tried reseting (using power cycle and pinhole push methods) and it doesn't work. I can get past the bluetooth connection and past the network password entry, but it won't connect through the router. Tried restarting router, no dice.
Note my network and device have been working find for months with no issues until this happened. I will probably try factory reset next but not sure what that does. If that doesn't work I am out of ideas, suggestions. Been working on this for 3 days now. Hard to believe doorbell went bad because I removed from app, gotta be something else...

Hi raycope, thanks for the reply. At least there's two of us, maybe it's some software bug in the home app?

Hey everyone,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Just a few questions: What is the status of LED light on the Nest Doorbell? Have you tried using a different phone? Did you try to reinstall the Google Home app?
I look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Edmond

Hello everyone,
@Jamesknibbs, Were you able to do the steps above or tried creating a new home structure like raycope did? I'd be glad to hear from you — I'd like to make sure everything is working.
@kyliecoon, I'm sorry to hear that. Let me help you out. To reconnect a deleted Nest device, you need to factory reset it and add it back to the Google Home app. Check out this link on how to do a factory reset on a Nest camera or Nest doorbell.
@raycope, Awesome! It's great to hear that you're able to reconnect your device.
Regards.
Edmond

Hi EmersonB, thank you for the support. I have solved the issue. It was to do with the wifi nothing to do with the doorbell. Thank you, all working now please close the thread

I am having this issue as well. It was also accidently deleted and I have not been able to get it to reconnect. It has been weeks.

I just worked with Jezel from Google and she solved the problem by creating a new Home2 using the Google Home app first. Then we were able to add the doorbell through Google Nest. After adding the doorbell, we just removed the old Home and everything is working fine now.
Also, there were some funny things with power. After resetting, the blue light should come on and stay on until you add the doorbell. The light was coming on but not staying on. Instead of relying just on the pinhole reset, we reset by removing one of the power wires, waited 5 secs, and then reconnected it. That seemed to be the best way to get the blue light to stay on so we could get through the add device procedure. Let me know if you have any questions, this was a great pain for me and I don´t want anyone else to go through the same pain. P.s.- Good news is everything is solid now and working fine.
