Changed Wi-fi and cannot reset Nest Cam (indoor, wired) Snow

Bought the Nest Cam (indoor, wired) Snow in 2022.  No issues using with Google or Nest App.  I have tried to reconnect to it using several ways.  I removed it from Nest, still nothing.  Factory reset, still nothing.  Using the code on the bottom of the device but it is never found.   Any advice?

Yes, but it keeps getting stuck at the “choose” the last 4 digits of your camera serial number”.  But no numbers ever show up.  It is blinking blue slowly. But nothing happens.

Not getting a serial number to choose from can happen if you're using the wrong app for the install. Are you by any chance trying to install a 2nd gen Google Nest indoor camera in the Google Nest app instead of in the Google Home app?

Did the factory reset complete, with the status light blinking yellow 4 times at about 10 seconds, and a solid yellow at 12 seconds with a confirmation tone?

Ha!  I don't know what generation it is, but I was in the Nest Home, where I removed it from as I could not do that in Google Home (I think).   There was no option in the Google Home to re-add it manually..... UNTIL it was fully reset, then it added automatically.

SO what about my Nest Protect smoke alarms?  They are still in my Nest Home, there is an option to change the Wi-Fi.  I have to be close to the unit.  it starts swirling blue, like it is connecting, but then nothing happens.

I have not reset those, because it is a pain to reach some of them!  Should I do that now?  Do I recall that if I change the Wi-Fi on one that it will do it for all of them?  Or do I have to take them all down to reset them all and remove them from my Nest Home!

THANK you!!!

@Ruthannpage

We don't have Nest Protects, so I don't want to suggest anything there, except they still work only in the Google Nest app.

It also is not showing up in my Wi-fi as trying to connect.  Maybe that is only through the app? I am dreading do my “Protect” smoke alarms next.  The Thermostat was a breeze!
