Charger for Nest Cameras

I like to have my cameras connected all the time but one of them is away from an electrical outlet. If i use a 24 feet long extension cord, will i need a different charger? In case your answer is yes, any idea of the watts needed?

The original charger (indoor) is different than the long cord for outdoors (wattage)?

We've had our battery camera plugged in with the optional 10 meter (32 foot) power cable (https://store.google.com/product/nest_cam_weatherproof_cable) since Sept. 2021 and it stays charged all the time.

Based on reports from other customers, it seems that if you plug in your camera AFTER it has been installed in the Google Home app, you may have to remove it, factory reset it, and reinstall it if you plug it in later, so that the Google Home app recognizes that it is plugged in. (There is no setting for this.)

Also, based on reports in this forum, I'm not sure it works well to use the 1 meter charging cord that comes with the camera to keep it plugged in.
