Chime not ringing with new Best doorbell

Hello,

I installed my new Nest wired doorbell over the weekend and everything connected and works fine and I wired it directly as described in the instructions and now my indoor doorbell electronic chime is not working when I ring the bell. I already tried all the troubleshooting options in both the Nest and Google Home apps with no success and I am unsure how to resolve this problem.

When I installed my nest doorbell to a ding dong chime the instructions stated transformer polarity did not matter   despite that my chime only worked when connected one way  the nest device itself worked either way  I don't know if  this applies to an electronic chime however

Thanks,

Just tried swapping the chime wires on the transformer but unfortunately, that didn't work either

@CodyA10

Which Doorbell did you get? The new 2021 Nest Doorbell (battery)? Or the previous wired Nest Hellp version? Also, which chime are you using?

Best regards,

Brad.
