Chime puck missing from newly purchased Gen2 wired doorbell

Hi,

I recently bought a new Gen2 wired doorbell from Home Depot and noticed that the chime puck is missing from the packaging (everything else is there).  Is there a possibility of a replacement chime puck that can be sent to me, or would it be better to return it for a refund?

Judging from other posts I've seen, I think Google Nest Support would tell you to return it to the retailer for a replacement.
A little over a year ago we bought a Google Nest Hello Doorbell from Home Depot and discovered the box had been opened and the parts damaged.  We returned it for a replacement.

Alright, thanks for that bit of info.  Guess I'll be heading back to Home Depot then.

Hey abond6463,

It looks like you were planning on returning your doorbell for a replacement. I just wanted to check in and see if you were able to do that successfully and to see if you had any other questions about the situation. Hopefully with the exchange you have everything you need, but let me know if there's more I can do.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I did get it exchanged at the store and everything is working great now.

Oh, that's good to hear, abond6463.

Before I mark this as resolved, is there anything else you might need? If so, just let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

Nope, I don't have any other questions at this time regarding the doorbell.
