I have gone through 2 doorbells and both have had the same problem. The mounting pin always gets stuck and then will not remount. I was able to replace the first one under warranty but the second one I cant do anything apparently. I tried to get a replacement as an exception but google said no. I am no longer going to use this product and may even trade in the rest of my Google devices. If this is an on going problem for me personally (and as far as I can see I am not the only one) I do not have faith in google products or their customer service. I just wanted to make a complaint on this product somewhere because at this point I am force to buy a new device and google has done absolutely nothing to improve.
