Concerns about being a second owner of a outdoor cam

Is there a way to delete the first owner of an outdoor cam.     I haven’t plugged the cam in.     I got 2 cams that were on my summer home. They were unplugged when i took owner ship.  I want to use them if possible without the prior owner being able to log on somehow if thats even possible.   Any help is appreciated

For the older 1st gen wired Google Nest Hello Doorbell, the previous owner should have removed the cameras from their Google Nest app while still connected to their Wi-Fi (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11151047).

If they did not do this, then if you try to reinstall the cameras in the Google Nest app you will likely get a message saying the camera is connected to another account. If that happens, for the 1st gen wired Google Nest Hello Doorbell, you'll need to wait until the previous owner's video history expires (up to 60 days):
