Hey. I'm afraid I suspect the answer to this. But is there anyway to connect to Nest cameras without physical access to them (they are installed very high and I don't have tall enough ladders. I cannot see the QR code or 6 digits from the ground as the secure plate covers them.
I have the floodlight camera and 2 nest battery camera (they are hardwired).
I could have swore I kept the stickers but I've got the boxes down and no joy. I have the surrounding stickers but not the actual QR code.
I have the serial number from the boxes is there anyway to retrieve the six digits from that?
Kindest regards Dan.

Unfortunately, you need either the QR code or the 6-character alphanumeric setup code to re-install Google Nest cameras and doorbells. And you'll need to physically access them anyhow to do the factory reset before reinstalling.
Have you tried setting the network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem to the same values used on your old router/modem? That is actually Google Nest's first recommendation, since it's a pain to factory reset everything and reinstall:

Thanks for the response. I had a feeling that was the case. I honestly can't believe that's the only alternative.
Unfortunately changing the details is really an option for me in this case. I guess I need to borrow some ladders and find someone who isn't afraid of heights lol.
