Connecting 2 doorbells into one chime

dermotwaters

Hello, I am trying to connect 2 nest wired doorbells into one chime connector. But my chime box has 4 wires and doesn’t match any of the wiring diagrams I can find. I tried finding a nest pro installer, but none in my area. I tried a local electrician, no luck. I need to connect two doorbells, but I’ll start with just one!

here is a photo of my chime box, hoping someone can help me get it sorted.

@dermotwaters

You need a separate chime connector for each doorbell. That's what we have for our 2 Google Nest Hello Doorbells, and it's what Google Nest's diagrams show.

I only see 3 wires in your photo. I have no idea which is which, but perhaps the yellow wire goes to your transformer, since it's colored differently.

The diagram labeled "Two Nest doorbells, two chimes" on the page below is mislabeled and should say "Two Nest doorbells, one chime".
