Trying to add second NestCam doorbell to my side door entry. Existing home had an intercom system/with buzzer at this location (HomePhone.com DP-28NIT) that has CAT5 cable running back to the controller in the basement (approx 60' away) and when doorbell button was pushed our POTS phones rang....we have now gotten rid of that service. This location never rang our internal door chime. My question is can I purchase a power adapter to drive current through the CAT5 cable to power the wired NestCam Doorbell (I do use Nest Aware)...I am not concerned about a doorbell ringing but more so for the camera capability. Appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
